Enrollment cancellation requests must be made in writing to the UIC Office of Continuing Education by submitting an Enrollment Cancellation Form or by emailing oce@uic.edu from the email address you provided with your enrollment.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Friday, November 30, 2009.

Parking is available on the northeast side of Halsted Street and Taylor Street in Lot HLPS (this lot is also listed as Lot HTPS on some maps) and is included in the course fee. When you enter the parking lot, you will take a parking ticket. At the workshop, you will receive a parking coupon to place on the ticket. Please give the parking ticket and coupon to the attendant as you exit the lot at the end of the day. Lot HLPS can be found on the UIC East Campus map.

Lunch will be on your own from 11:30 am – 1 pm. There are several restaurants located nearby on Taylor Street, in Greektown and on the UIC South Campus, which is about 1 ½ blocks south of Roosevelt Road.  For your convenience, please view our dining guide.

The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition is proud to present a Lower Extremity Human Cadaver Workshop for massage therapists and bodywork professionals. Therapists will have the opportunity to view in situ structures important to the practice of massage therapy. This workshop is designed for in-depth exploration of the lower extremity, the musculoskeletal, vascular, and nervous system components of the thigh, let, and foot.  Clinical complications, including common sports injuries, will be presented and will include:
• Hands-on exploration and identification of structures on cadavers
• Virtual dissection
• Critical thinking and clinical applications
The workshop will combine lecture with hands-on clinical based teaching.
