The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition is proud to present a Lower Extremity Human Cadaver Workshop for massage therapists and bodywork professionals. Therapists will have the opportunity to view in situ structures important to the practice of massage therapy. This workshop is designed for in-depth exploration of the lower extremity, the musculoskeletal, vascular, and nervous system components of the thigh, let, and foot. Clinical complications, including common sports injuries, will be presented and will include: • Hands-on exploration and identification of structures on cadavers • Virtual dissection • Critical thinking and clinical applications The workshop will combine lecture with hands-on clinical based teaching. |
