Bilingual and English as a Second Language (ESL) Approval
The Bilingual and English as a Second Language (ESL) Approval program offers teachers with a standard Illinois teaching certificate who would like to teach in a bilingual and/or ESL setting the opportunity to earn an English as a Second Language Approval and, if they pass the state language proficiency test, a Bilingual Approval.
