Landmarks of American History: Workshops for School Teachers, July 17-23, 2005

The workshop is offered through the Landmarks of American History: Workshops for School Teachers program of the National Endowment for the Humanities.  "Hull-House in the Progressive Era: People, Places, and Ideas, 1890-1930" will meet from July 17 to July 23, 2005.  Participants in the workshop will explore the people, places, and ideas that made Hull-House a world-famous settlement house and a center of Progressive Era reform dedicated to addressing the problems caused by urbanization, industrialization, and immigration.

Workshop participants who wish to earn graduate credit from UIC may enroll in History 500 - Colloquim on the Teaching of History for one to four credit hours.
