Financial Fitness for Life - Financial Literacy Courses for Teachers
Participants in the Financial Fitness for Life workshops who wish to obtain graduate credit have the option of enrolling in ECON 442 - Topics in Economic Education: Teaching Consumer Economics for 1, 2 or 4 graduate credit hours. Financial Fitness for Life program is being offered as part of Financial Literacy courses for elementary and middle/high school teachers
Elementary school teachers will learn how to teach their students about earning income, spending, saving, budgeting, money management, and financial institutions.
Middle/high school teachers will learn how to teach their students about getting good deals, becoming financially independent, saving for college and other goals, getting good jobs and careers, choosing and appropriately using credit, investing, credit reports, scams and schemes, types of risk, and insurance.
