Parking
There are three kinds of parking lots available across the UIC campus: Card access, visitor, and meter. Parking lots with card access are reserved for UIC students, faculty, and staff with parking assignments.

Visitor and meter lots are available at the applicable rate on a first-come, first-served basis. These lots will require that visitors either pay upon entrance or exit. Please be aware that lots requiring you to pay upon exit, but which do not have an attendant on duty, will require that your ticket stub be returned and payment be made to a cashbox.

You may purchase parking coupons or a parking assignment on a semester only basis from one of the Parking Services offices. If you are interested in purchasing either of these, you will need to bring a copy of the enrollment confirmation you receive from us with you to the Parking Services office.

View the parking maps to see which parking lot is closest to the building of your classroom. Visitor lots are indicated in red, meters in green.

East Campus parking map
If your classes are held in the Education, Performing Arts, and Social Work Building (EPASW) or the Behavioral Sciences Building (BSB), visitor lot 9 or, if you prefer an enclosed garage, the Harrison Street Parking Structure (HRPS) are the most convenient.
If you are going to the UIC Student Center East (SCE), formerly known as Chicago Circle Center; the Lecture Centers; the Library; or the Science and Engineering Offices or Laboratories (SEO or SEL), the Halsted/Taylor Parking Structure (HTPS) provides the closest parking.

West Campus parking map
On West Campus, visitor access is available for Paulina Street Parking Structure (PSPS, on Paulina/Taylor) and the Wood Street Parking Structure (WSPS, on Wood between Taylor and Roosevelt), as well as in lots C4 (on Wolcott, access from Roosevelt), E, and W2 (Harrison/Damen). Meter parking is available in lot J (Taylor/Paulina).
